Rich History and Cultural Heritage

Korea has both modernism and history. Magnificent places such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bulguksa Temple, and Bukchon Hanok Village, or wandering through the ancient city of Gyeongju, often referred to as a “museum without walls,” will make you feel like you are an explorer of history. This is what I feel whenever I go to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Korean culture is still alive!

One day, I was looking for a shop where I had an interview scheduled. I asked a native for directions, and he kindly walked with me for 15 minutes until we found it. Such amazing hospitality! To be honest, English is rarely used in Korea, but there’s no need to worry as you can rely on Google Translate, Papago, and ChatGDP, which are all awesome tools for communication.

The Cafe and Bar culture

In Korea, it seems like there are mountains everywhere and coffee shops on every corner. You can find cafes in unexpected places, from old houses to warehouses. They serve not only unique drinks but also quirky flavors like purple sweet potato.

Nighttime in Korea is when the fun really begins. It feels like everyone is out until the early hours, enjoying drinks like soju. Join the locals at the tents along the streets for a lively atmosphere.

If you prefer something quieter, try one of the craft breweries that have popped up recently. Or head to a rooftop bar for a more upscale experience with great views of the city.
