The more food I try in Korea, the more feel love for Korea. Actually, I like cucumber salad since my childhood. Korean Spicy Cucumber Side Dish was the best I ever had in the items of cucumber.

Oi Muchim (Spicy Cucumber Salad)

Korean side dishes called “banchan”. However, Korean side dishes cucumber is called “Oi Muchim” (오이무침). It is   essential part of Korean cuisine, adding a variety of flavors and textures to the meal. Spicy cucumber salad is one of the famous side menus here in Korea.

My menu is always unperfect without salad. I think, you should not leave Korea without try it out!

General Ingredients

  • Cucumbers: Typically Korean cucumbers, which are smaller and have thinner skins, but English or Persian cucumbers can also be used.
