I am going to share my own experience and I have a lots of friends in others universities I asked them their experience as well! Let’s deep dive on it.

Seoul National University (SNU) was established in 1946 through the merger of 10 higher education institutions in Seoul. It is widely regarded as one of the top universities in South Korea.
SNU operates across three campuses: two in Seoul and one in Gangwon-do in the northeast. The main campus in Gwanak-gu features modern facilities, including a library housing over 4 million works. It offers extensive student accommodations, with dormitories for over 5,000 residents, and provides dining facilities. The campus also hosts two museums—one focused on the university and the other on art—as well as various student organizations and SNU’s official newspaper.
The university comprises 16 academic colleges, offering a wide range of programs reflecting its diverse institutional origins. There are more than 80 undergraduate courses and nearly 100 master’s and doctoral programs available.
For international students, SNU provides robust support and has partnerships with over 800 universities worldwide for exchange programs. Current students also have numerous opportunities to study abroad.

The second one is KAIST. It is one of the best university in Korea as well as in the world. The campus life is very awesome, professors are very approachable.

Established in February 1971 as the Korea Advanced Institute of Science, KAIST was funded through a loan from the United States Agency for International Development. The university’s structure was designed by an international team, including Frederick Emmons Terman, an electrical engineer and vice president of Stanford University. Unlike most public institutions in South Korea, KAIST has unique autonomy over its entry requirements and course structure, granting it a distinct status.
